By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking or using any of our services.
1. Definitions
- "We", "Us", "Our": Refers to InterSound Studio.
- "You", "Client", "User": Refers to any person or entity using our services or website.
- "Services": Refers to the recording, mixing, mastering, and any other audio-related services offered by InterSound Studio.
2. Booking and Payment Term
- Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of payment or deposit, as specified in the booking process.
- Payment: Full payment for services is required either before the session or on the day of the service, unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made less than [insert time, e.g., 48 hours] before the scheduled session will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made prior to this time frame may be rescheduled based on availability.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests must be made at least [insert time, e.g., 48 hours] in advance and are subject to availability.
3. Use of Studio Facilities
- Studio Rules: All clients and their guests are expected to adhere to studio rules and regulations, including respecting equipment, facilities, and other clients. We reserve the right to terminate a session if conduct is deemed inappropriate.
- Guests: You are responsible for the conduct of any guests you bring into the studio. We reserve the right to limit the number of guests for safety or operational reasons.
- Damage to Equipment: Clients are responsible for any damage to studio equipment caused by negligence or misuse during their session. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the client.
- Food and Drink: Eating and drinking are only allowed in designated areas. No food or drink is allowed near any recording or mixing equipment.
4. Service Terms
- Creative Control: While we provide expert guidance and suggestions, you retain full creative control over the final product unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Delivery of Work: Final mixes, masters, or any other agreed deliverables will be provided in the formats agreed upon (e.g., digital files, .WAV, .MP3). Delivery times vary based on project scope and complexity.
- Revisions: We offer three (3) rounds of revisions free of charge for mixing and pre-master two (2) revisions of mastering. Additional revisions will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
- Client Materials: Any media or content provided by you (audio files, lyrics, etc.) must not infringe on third-party copyrights. You are fully responsible for securing the necessary permissions.
5. Copyright and Ownership
- Ownership of Masters: You retain full ownership of all final masters and recordings, provided all outstanding fees have been paid.
- Usage Rights: InterSound Studio reserves the right to use portions of recorded sessions for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website portfolio) unless you specifically request otherwise.
- Third-Party Rights: If your work includes third-party content (e.g., sampled music), it is your responsibility to secure any necessary licenses or clearances.
6. Liability
- Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, InterSound Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or lost profits.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures to provide services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, and strikes.
7. Website Usage
- Content Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any content. We reserve the right to modify website content without prior notice.
- Intellectual Property: All content on our website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of InterSound Studio and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our express written consent.
